Frequently asked

Questions worth answering straight.

If something's missing here, the WhatsApp community (link in the footer) usually has it answered within the hour.

Is GoalPool free to join?

Yes — creating an account costs nothing. You only put money in when you choose to join or create a pool with a real stake. Plenty of people use GoalPool just to track their squad and the leaderboard without ever staking anything.

How do I link my FPL team?

After verifying your email, enter your FPL manager ID (found in your Fantasy Premier League app or site URL under "Points"). GoalPool reads your squad, transfers and gameweek history straight from the official table — you don't rebuild anything.

How are pool winners decided?

By gameweek points on the official FPL table, same as any mini-league — whoever ranks highest in the pool when the gameweek finalizes takes the pot according to the pool's payout structure, which is shown before you join.

How do I get my winnings out?

Winnings land in your GoalPool wallet as soon as a pool settles. From there, withdraw to M-Pesa from the Wallet page whenever you like.

Is my account and money secure?

You log in with your email and a password (stored only as a secure hash, never in plain text), and repeated wrong guesses are blocked. Pools are watched by automated fraud monitoring, and wallet activity is logged. As with any platform handling real money, only stake what you're comfortable with.

Is GoalPool affiliated with the Premier League or Fantasy Premier League?

No. GoalPool is an independent platform built on top of the public, official FPL data — it is not operated, endorsed, or sponsored by the Premier League or Fantasy Premier League.

Can I use GoalPool without staking real money?

Yes. Linking your FPL manager ID and following the live leaderboard costs nothing. Staking is only required if you choose to join a paid pool.

Something's wrong with my account or a pool — who do I contact?

The fastest route is the GoalPool WhatsApp community (linked in the footer on every page) — flag it there and it gets picked up quickly.
